NHS out of hours

The basic emergency/urgent service is for patient experiencing pain not controlled by regular pain relief taken for 48 hours. It is also for uncontrolled bleeding, large swelling or dental trauma. The helpline number is 0161 476 9651. 

Advice is also be available on NHS 111.

NHS England operates 7 days a week including Bank Holidays 9.00am to 9.30pm. Patients are triaged appropriately and given an appointment where necessary.
